My Therapeutic Approach & Specializations
My approach to therapy is relational and client-centered, with an emphasis on creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and valued. I believe that healing happens through genuine connection, and I strive to meet each person where they are with empathy, authenticity, and respect.
I draw from various therapeutic modalities, incorporating elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), while tailoring my approach to each client’s unique needs. I am able to immerse faith from a Christian perspective into the therapeutic process upon request, and aim to provide a safe space where clients can explore their experiences holistically. I view my role as a therapist as an incredible privilege and my goal is to walk alongside my clients, helping them build resilience, self-understanding, and meaningful connections in their lives!
My Education & Experience
I graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Biblical Studies, then went on to complete my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lenoir-Rhyne University.
I began my career in community mental health, where I worked with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, complex trauma, current or past abuse, life transitions, relational struggles, grief, chronic illness, and faith exploration.
